from Chicago to Washington DC to:
Bring awareness among media and US citizens
about the plight of Tamils in Sri Lanka.
Remember Black July Victims and those who perished
in this bloody war of over 30 years!
Bloodshed in Sri Lanka continues, although the
Sri Lankan Govt. has claimed an end to the war.
Over 300, 000 Internally Displaced Peoples (IDP’s) are continuously forced
into internment camps without access to food, medicine and water.
There is a steady
rise in deaths due to starvation, rape and child abduction in these camps.
The government of Sri Lanka has denied international observers, including the UN, the
access to set up monitoring missions.

the relief efforts.
